What does a Miracle League volunteer do?

An essential piece of The Miracle League is the "buddy system". Each
athlete is paired with an able-bodied friend to assist them on and off
the field. Guidance is generously offered by coaches, organization
leaders and family members.

Who can be a Miracle League buddy?

The Miracle League of Mid-Michigan is seeking people who are willing
to donate their time., Buddies can be fellow schoolmates, parents,
college or high school students, athletes, business leaders, Boy
Scouts, Girl Scouts or any individual or group who wishes to donate
their time to give a child the gift of baseball. Volunteers must be 12
years of age or older and are subject to a background screening.
Enthusiasm and compassion are key. No prior experience is needed.
League coordinators will provide you with all of the information and
training necessary.
